While there are no records to know for sure, the London Tecumsehs have accomplished something this season that definitely does not happen very often. Keep in mind, Midget is a 3 year division, so this team is still technically underage, made up of 2nd year Midgets, and the entire team is eligible to come back next year for another run.

Every team has off nights, where the bats aren't working, or the defense isn't feeling it, so to go undefeated in league play is an amazing accomplishment. But the Midget's didn't stop there.
After amassing a 19-0-4 record to finish 1st atop the LDBA season standings, the Tecumsehs  began the LDBA Play-downs to see who would represent LDBA at the OBA Provincial Championships.
After winning the first game, they were awaiting the winner of the next round, which was rained out 4 times, and it was time for the LDBA Playoffs. Pitcher-2016Season.jpg
On the weekend, the Tecumsehs ran a record of 5-0 to win the LDBA Midget Playoff Championships, winning the final over the 2nd place team from the season standings 10-0, capped by a no-hitter from pitcher Nick Finn (right).

Great weekend, but no rest for the weary, the Tecumsehs continued their quest to go to OBA's by defeating North London in the final of the playdowns, and now move on to the the OBA's in Kitchener, with the first game 2 days away, Friday morning at 9:30 AM.

On top of that, the Tecumsehs, in 3 OBA tournaments this season, began by losing in the finals of their first tournament to a AAA team from Hamilton, 5-4 in 11 innings, and then went on to go 10-0 to win their next 2 tournaments.

26-0-4 in LDBA play... What a Season!

Best of luck boys, in the OBA's on the weekend.

**...update, the London Tecumseh capped an amazing season by finishing 2nd at the OBA's in Kitchener losing a close 5-4 game to a very strong Stratford team in the final.
