Hello Everyone and Welcome, to what I hope is the start of our 2021 baseball season.
I'm sure for some, you have not thrown or for that matter picked up a baseball for some months now, however I'm very hopeful that we will have a season this summer. I'm sure it will be different and unlike no other (tell me you haven't heard that phrase in the last 12 months), but none the less still hopeful that we will have some sort of a baseball season.
Typically by this time of the year, we would have been inside doing workouts for over a month so we do have some catch up to do to get ready for tryouts and our season. That being said, I hope you can join us at our indoor workout sessions to begin getting into "baseball shape". I know for many, you have been busy with other sports, which is good, however these indoor workouts may bring on some additional movements that you have not been exposed to in some time, so I do encourage them.
Please ensure you sign up, via our website and send your fee to ensure you have a spot for each session. We are limited on the number of spots due to capacity rules so it is important to get all the required information to our Registrar as quickly as you can. It is also important that you read and are aware of all the rules around the facility that we are using. Face masks, social distancing, capacity numbers etc. must be adhered to while inside the facility.
I want to point out that these are workouts and not tryouts. I will be announcing official tryout times as we progress hopefully into some nicer weather and are able to get outside.
For the workouts, you will need athletic clothing, athletic shoes (please bring your shoes into the facility don't wear them into it), baseball glove and baseball hat. We only have an hour so please be on time and ready to begin right at 7:30pm on Thursday March 18th.
