London Talons Tournament 2024
Welcome to our 8th annual London Talons Baseball Tournament.

Everyone should already have all the information they need, but as a reminder, your EventConnect dashboard or mobile app have the official schedules, scores, and standings, which can also be found on the Talons website, under Tournaments.

Week 1 - July 12-14

Week 2 - July 19-21

All scores and standings will be updated live on the site, and all schedules and scores will be posted on the front of the concession building at Tournament Headquarters at Stronach Park, and most other parks. If there happen to be changes to the schedule due to weather, you will be notified by the EventConnect notifications, and text as well. Please also review the tournament rules that are posted on our website.
I will be situated at Stronach headquarters, please stop by and say hi, but there is no need to check in.

With a very large tournament this weekend (64 teams, 123 games), not all games are at Stronach Park. We will also be using Mornington ParkDan Pulham FieldFanshawe College (Alumni Field)and Hamlyn Field   all weekend, as well as games
Saturday at Kiwanis Park. All maps are also on the schedules.
See all of the main park conveners and their contact info below, don’t be afraid to find them if you have any questions.

VERY IMPORTANT- We want everyone to have the best time at our tournament,,that includes first and foremost the players, but also the coaches, parents, fans, even random spectators, but let us not forget our Umpires. As everyone already knows, it is very, very hard to find umpires right now, everywhere, let's treat them with the respect we would give our players, and ourselves. I have visited tournaments all year, and everyone is having trouble finding and keeping umpires and we worked very hard to ensure we have 2 umpires at every game, we would like to keep it this way. Some are younger than in normal years, some are grizzled old vets, but they are here for YOU, let's treat them with the respect they deserve, just as we would the young players. I know everyone gets passionate on the field, but please keep everything in perspective, this is a FUN FIRST tournament, no exceptions. This includes parents, I have seen it at tournaments all year, but I KNOW this group will be great! As always, if you have any needs, or questions during the weekend,
please find me at headquarters, or give me a call.

Also, as a reminder, please pass on to all your parents, we will have concessions all weekend at Stronach and Mornington Park's, burgers, dogs, snacks, drinks etc.,
Help support local baseball.
There will be MVP prizes for each team after the games, please line up on the foul lines for the presentation.

(if your game ran late, please exit the diamond and we will do the MVP awards there to allow the next game to get going).

We hope you have a great time while you are here, see below for things to do in London this weekend.
If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask.

Thanks.
