The Minor Mosquito Squad took part in the Stratford Tournament over the June 3rd - 5th weekend.
The team sailed through the first 3 games with 61 runs scored and 26 runs against. This earned the team a #2 seed and a bye to the Semi Finals on Sunday. During the Semi Final game the weather decided to become another opponent - causing 2 game delays and eventually leading to a change of venue. The team was down by 4 runs going into the top of the final inning and rallied to score 5 times to take the lead. Clutch pitching and defense closed the door and the Tecumsehs were off to the Finals.
In the finals they continued to ride the emotions from the previous game and scored 9 quick runs. After a solid start and great pitching the weather and long day started to catch up with the team, and eventually lost a heart breaker 12-13.
