London Talons Tournament 2023
Welcome to our 7th annual London Talons Baseball Tournament.

EDIT: as I am sure everyone has seen, with this heat there is always the chance for poor weather this weekend. If we run into weather related delays, we will move as fast as we can to update everyone, but allow us the time to do that, please do not call, from past experience it only slows us down to be constantly answering the phone. We will update everyone as soon as we possibly can.

Everyone should already have all the information they need, but as a reminder, your
EventConnect dashboard or mobile app have the official schedules, scores, and standings, which can also be found  on the Talons website, under Tournaments.

Week 1 - July 14-16

Week 2 - July 21-23

All scores and standings will be updated live on the site, and all schedules and scores will be posted on the front of the concession building at Tournament Headquarters at
Stronach Park. If there happen to be changes to the schedule due to weather, you will be notified by the EventConnect notifications, and text as well. Please also review all of the rules that are posted on our website under Tournaments.

With a very large tournament this weekend (59 teams, 114 games), not all games are at
Stronach Park. We will also be using Mornington ParkDan Pulham Field, and Fanshawe College (Alumni Field) all weekend, as well as games Saturday at Kiwanis Park, and Hamlyn Field. All maps are also on the schedules.

VERY IMPORTANT
- We want everyone to have the best time at our tournament,,that includes first and foremost the players, but also the coaches, parents fans, even random spectators, but let us not forget our Umpires. As everyone already knows, it is very, very hard to find umpires right now, everywhere, let's treat them with the respect we would give our players. I have visited tournaments all year, and everyone is having trouble finding and keeping umpires and we worked very hard to ensure we have 2 umpire at every game, we would like to keep it this way. Some are younger than in normal years, some are grizzled old vets, but they are here for YOU, let's treat them with the respect they deserve, just as we would the young players. I know everyone has missed baseball the past couple seasons, but please keep everythig in perspective, this is a FUN FIRST tournament, no exceptions. This includes parents, I have seen it at tournaments all year, but I KNOW this group will be great!

Also, as a reminder, please pass on to all your parents, we will have concessions all weekend at Stronach and Mornington Park's, burgers, dogs, snacks, drinks etc.,

Help support local baseball.

There will be MVP prizes for each team after the games, please lineup on the foul lines for the presentation (if your game ran late, please exit the diamond and we will do the MVP awards there to allow the next game to get going).

** We will also have a photographer on site moving from diamond to diamond doing Action Photos, we will pass on the links after the tournament to view and purchase photos. If your team does not wish to be photographed, please let me know.

We hope you have a great time while you are here, see below for things to do in London this weekend.

If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask.
