Tryouts & Tournaments
Many thanks to all those that were able to join us for the Major Peewee Winter Workouts.  It was an honour working with this exceptional group of young athletes who really have a passion for the game of baseball.  Now, as the March Break comes to an end, we are all set to begin tryouts.

Our goal for the selection process is to identify the players that are talented, athletic, have a great attitude, show a willingness to listen and learn, have potential for improvement, and possess the traits needed to be a good teammate.

TRYOUT DATES:

* Wednesday March 21st – JP Robarts from 8:00 PM to 9:45 PM – this will be a prep session to let the players know about the tryout process, what we’re looking for in a player, and to run through some of the drills

* Friday March 23rd – CF Sports from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM – this session will focus on infield and hitting

* Wednesday March 28th – JP Robarts from 8:00 PM to 9:45 PM – this session will focus on pitching & catching

* Friday March 30th – CF Sports from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM – this session will focus on infield, outfield and hitting

If your son is unable to attend any of the tryouts, please be sure to let me know.

Please do not arrive more than 10 minutes early in order to let the previous group clear the gym and parking lot.  Non-marking running shoes, athletic pants, batting helmets and protective cups required.

Please note that the two Friday sessions will be held at the Centrefield Sports Complex located at 25 Midpark Crescent, London, ON  N6N 1A9.

Head Coach Bob Picken will be leading the tryouts with the assistance of the LTBC Roving Pitching Instructor Brent Wales, along with other independent instructors and evaluators.

The final team selection will be posted on the website by 10:00 PM on Sunday April 1st.

We are looking forward to an exciting season ahead, and we ask that you do your best to support your child during the tryout process.  Be positive and encouraging.  Tryouts are very stressful on players (and parents), so do your best to help them through it.  Do not add to the stress factor!

Please see below for a list of the tournaments that we have committed to this year.
