11U London Talons Visit Field of Dreams
They built it and the Talons came.
Our 11U London Talons were not only the first Canadian Team to ever attend the Baseball Factory Iowa Dreams Experience in Dyersville Iowa at the iconic Field of Dreams movie site, they were also the first Canadian team to record a win!

The 11U Talons 'went the distance' deep in the heart of Iowa and walked out of the corn and on to the incredible Field of Dreams movie site and created lifelong memories for players and families alike.
Not only did the Talons perform admirably as the first Canadian team in games, but they also showed what the Talons Baseball Club is made of in Saturday's Skills Competition at the Field of Dreams. Charlie, Hudson and Kiran kicked things off with a perfect outfield relay that took less than 19 seconds to complete. Then Aaron, Hayden, Griffin and Graham took the stage in the running relay competition leaving Shoeless Joe in the dust and placing third.
Finally, the 11U bash squad of Ben, Tofino, Bryce, Parker, Spencer and Austin stepped up to the iconic postage size plate and backstop in the home run derby, displaying Canadian grit and power!
In the end, it was the Wisconsin Sandlot, a tournament all-star team that took the crown but no one can take the memories our players will tell their grand kids about.
